All Conergy modules are tested optically, mechanically and electrically during the production process. The quality of the modules during long-term use even under extreme ambient conditions is guaranteed by the internationally recognised test certificate for crystalline modules according to the approval standard IEC 61215. Certification according to safety class II indicates that the modules are secure electric equipment.

Conergy PowerPlus Series

The Conergy PowerPlus solar modules are entirely developed, produced and thoroughly checked pursuant to the IEC 61730 safety standard in Germany. The state-of-the-art, fully automatic manufacturing process of the Frankfurt/Oder factory ensures the highest quality of the modules. With the 4-mm-thick solar glass and warp-resistant frame, the particularly stable modules also withstand loads up to 5400 pascal, meaning it is also possible to use Conenergy PowerPlus solar modules even in extreme climatic conditions such as heavy snowfall.

First serial production of lead-free soldered modules!

It is usually necessary to apply a lead coating in order to make PV modules resistant to moisture and weather influences for a long time. Mitsubishi Electric has developed environmentally-friendly compounds and production procedures for the silver electrodes on the surface of polycrystalline silicon PV modules which enabled the production of cells that do not require such a coating. The first of these cells were manufactured in Japan.

The polycrystalline PV modules are manufactured according to the most stringent technical standards which guarantee that all modules meet the strict requirements of the international approval standards UL 1703, IEC 61215 and safety class II.

Thanks to intensive research, continual further development of the production processes and highly automated manufacturing, Kyocera's polycrystalline PV modules have an exceptionally high quality standard and a remarkably high degree of efficiency. The embedded Kyocera high performance PV cells with a surface area of 15.6 x 15.6 cm reach an energy coefficient of more than 15% and ensure an extremely high annual energy yield of the PV system. The modules are certified by TÜV Rheinland (Technical Inspection Agency of the Rhineland, Germany) regarding the approval standard IEC 61215 and safety class II.
